The title track from the Fairytales album (1998) will be released in a remixed 25th anniversary version December 15th. The flute was performed by Norvald Hitsøy, who sadly passed away in 2017. Norvald was a colleague of mine at Karmøy kulturskole and a great musician.

This December marks the 25th anniversary of my debut album, Fairytales. Stay tuned for some posts about the album.
Meanwhile you can listen to the album on your favorite streaming service.

August 19th, I went to Bergen, Norway, with my whole family and had a blast at the outdorr TOTO concert.
I took some photos with my phone, and one of them was reposted by the official TOTO Facebook and Instagram. What an honour, and what fun!
Always having been fascinated by sound, Norwegian artist/keyboardist/producer Christian started his musical career with piano lessons at the age of 8. He also joined the school brass band playing the euphonium.
After playing keyboards in a few bands in his teens, and after studying both german and economics (finding out that was not the path he wanted to go), he finally started music studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 1994 he majored in Music Synthesis.
Since his debut album Fairytales (1998), he has been writing/producing and releasing music from his studio in Kopervik, Norway.
His music has often been described as visual and cinematic.
In 2009, singer of well known Norwegian folk-rock band Vamp, Jan Toft, guested as singer on the album Skywatching.
In 2015 Pink Floyd backing singer Durga McBroom was featured on two tracks on his Illuminate album. When Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason shared the news about McBrooms guest performance, the Norwegian indie artist was super thrilled, having been a Floyd fan since early teens.
As a keyboard player and arranger, Christian has also been a member of Norwegian rock band Temet Nosce, known for their music video on Norway’s iconic natural landmark, The Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen).
The 2019 single When Echoes Fade, is so far Christians most comprehensive project. It featured singer Chris Cron from Nashville, SWEEDiSH from Los Angels, woodwind player Josh Plotner from New York, guitar player LITANGEN from Norway.
